 The Four Points Sheraton located at 99 Erdman Way in Leominster hosts the Acoustic Summer Music Series, featuring great new and classic pop/rock, blues and country songs performed by some of the best acoustic artists in Central Massachusetts.Folk and Blues artist Kellie Girouard will perform from 9 p.m. to midnight.  Volunteers needed to become educational surrogate parents. There are many children in the Central Massachusetts area who need an adult willing to make their special education decisions.  Kid Expo. Mount Wachusett Community College's Gardner Campus is hosting a Kid Expo from 10 to 2:00 p.m. and a Kid Expo at HealthAlliance Hospital Leominster Campus, on Saturday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to noon. Both events will feature a wide variety of hands-on health and safety activities for kids and families, food, music and fun. Kids will also receive a free ID Kit from the Molly Bish Foundation including a current photo and set of fingerprints.  Hike for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity is holding its11th Annual Habitat for Humanity Hike at Mt. Monadnock, in Jaffrey, NH May 20 and May 21. Raise money to build homes with families in need in North Central Massachusetts. The public is invited to hike one or both days.  Family Fun Fair. The Fall Brook School P.T.O. is holding a Family Fun Fair at Fall Brook Elementary School from 10 to 2 p.m. There will be plenty of exciting events including carnival games, food, entertainment, raffles and more. Come to Fall Brook with your family to enjoy a day of fun in the sun. The event will be held indoors at Fall Brook Elementary School in the event of inclement weather. Pilgrim Congregational Church will hold its annual Spring Fair from 8 to 3 p.m. There will be a "white elephant" table, crafts, children's activities, a Chinese auction and concessions. Join the fun!

 The Congregational Church of Christ located at 583 Main St. in Leominster is holding a church supper from 4 to 6 p.m. The buffet includes roast pork, potatoes, vegetables and homemade pies for dessert. Tickets are $7.

SUNDAY  Molly Bish Kid's Day. The Leominster Eagles and the Leominster Police Association 21 are holding their annual Kid's Day from 1 to p.m. at the Eagles Club at 456 Litchfield St. in Leominster. The Molly Bish Foundation with help from the police association and Leominster Public Schools are taking pictures and fingerprints for the Molly Bish Foundation Safety ID Program. Grab your ID Kit while enjoying games, prizes, food, face painting and puppet shows. The police association will provide their radar truck so kids can guess how fast they can throw a softball, the Leominster Fire Department will be operating their Fire Safe House, representatives from the Office of Emergency Management will be displaying their dive vehicle and boat and the State Police will be landing their emergency helicopter for the public to view. This program was partly funded by CHESP (Community, Higher Education, School Partnership.)

 Fourth Annual Festa Italiana. St. Anna School, located at 213 Lancaster St., will be holding its annual Italian dinner from noon to 7 p.m. with no rain date. The Festa features authentic Italian food, as well as games, rides, music, and the ever popular theme basket raffles. This year's Festa also features the Second Annual Sauce Contest which is open to the public and has a cash prize for the area's best tomato sauce.  Dance2Swing Studios presents a free introduction to East Coast Swing. This workshop will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at Global Fitness Center, located at 37 Horseshoe Park Drive in Fitchburg.  The Keystone Center presents "How the New Medical Rules Affect Planning for Nursing Home Care" at the Leominster Senior Center located at 5 Pond St. from 10 to 11:30 a.m. This is a free program by elder law specialist Atty. Andrea J. Lehtonen. Come and learn how these significant changes to the Medicaid laws are now affecting estate planning and future nursing home eligibility for you, a friend, or other family member.
