Bristol-Myers Squibb VP at next POWERLunch

S. Joseph Tarnowski, senior vice president of biologics manufacturing and process development in the technical operations division of Bristol-Myers Squibb, will be the guest speaker for the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce's POWERLunch, which is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 24 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Chocksett Inn, sponsored by Vision Advertising.

Tarnowski will be speaking about the Bristol-Myers Squibb facility under construction at Devens and the company's expectations for its impact on the area. The company is investing over $660 million to build a biotechnology plant at the former army base Fort Devens.

Dr. Tarnowski has over 25 years experience in the biotech industry, primarily focused on the research, development, registration and commercialization of biopharmaceutical products made using recombinant DNA technology. Tarnowski's experience has allowed him to play a critical role in the clinical, commercial development and registration of several FDA and internationally approved human therapeutic products manufactured by BMS.

Cost to attend the sit-down lunch is $25 for chamber members and $45 for non-members. Call (978) 353-7600 or e-mail reservations@massweb.org if you would like to attend.
