F-Troop donates $3,500 to Veterans Center

F-Troop Inc., a group of local motorcycle riders, recently presented a $3,500 donation to the Leominster Veterans Center, after hearing the center needed to install a new ventilation hood in the center’s recently renovated kitchen.

The Veterans Center is home to the city’s veteran services, which assist thousands of veterans every year. The Veterans Center is also the home of the American Legion Post 151, AMVETS Post 38, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1807, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 24, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 116, American Family Link and Blue Star Mothers.

F-Troop Inc. raises money through motorcycle rides and other events including a Veteran’s Dance and an Annual Christmas Party. Money raised from these events is donated to local children’s programs, veterans organizations, and injured bikers.

Since 2000, F-Troop has raised more than $100,000 for charities and hopes to continue fund-raising through events and other donations.

F-Troop would like to thank all of its members, various supporters, and sponsors for which it would not be possible without their help.
