The Our Daily Bread ministry serves free breakfast every Saturday from 8-9 a.m. at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 26 West St., Leominster. Everyone is welcome.

Join the Friends of Wachusett Mountain and the Department of Conservation and Recreation staff for a Winter Hike at Wachusett Mountain State Reservation from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please meet at the Administration Road gate near the Machias Pond parking area on Westminster Road in Princeton at 9:45 a.m. We will be hiking the mountain roads to the summit of Wachusett Mountain. It can be very cold in January, so please be prepared for existing weather conditions and to be outdoors for a few hours. This program is free and for people of all ages and skill levels; however, children should be accompanied by an adult. Well-behaved, leashed dogs, are always welcome. The Dr. Martin T. Feldman Children’s Room at the Leominster Public Library will host a Preschool Story Time for 3- to 5-year-olds and a caregiver at 10 a.m.

A free yoga class for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers is offered every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Leominster Veterans’ Memorial Center, 100 West St., Leominster. With snow on the ground, it may seem like a strange time to be thinking about gardening. Not so for the Westminster Agricultural Commission. The commission will kick off this year’s Backyard Growing series from 6:30- 7:30 p.m. at the Forbush Library, 118 Main St., Westminster, with a program on the impact of last season’s drought. Come learn some tips for managing a home garden during drought conditions. This free series will continue on the third Tuesday of the month in February through April. TOPS, or Take Off Pounds Sensibly, Chapter 236 meets every Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the Leominster Senior Center. Weigh in is at 8:30 a.m., with a meeting that follows.

Doors open at 4 p.m. The “Stingers” or “Super Trolls” Game starts at 6:25 p.m. Bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. There will be a New Progressive “58” Coverall, seven or more $50 games every week, pull tab tickets, a weekly scratch ticket raffle and a snack bar. The Friends of the Leominster Public Library will hold their weekly Book Sale from 6-8 p.m. at the library. Choose from a large selection of reasonably priced fiction and nonfiction, as well as children’s and young adult materials. Great deals on like-new and gently used books and DVDs for all ages. Proceeds from the book sale will support Friends-sponsored library programs.

The Montachusett Ski and Snowboarding Club will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. at Great Wolf Lodge, 150 Great Wolf Drive, Fitchburg.
